Rebeccah Landerholm grew up in Seattle, WA but moved to the east coast to attend college at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she studied Professional Writing and Geography. She met fellow founders, Oliver and Dillon, during their years at Kutztown. After some time in Florida and having her son Phillip, Rebeccah and her family moved home to the Seattle area. She found her path through the Permaculture Design Certificate at Bastyr University, which she completed in 2016. In addition to her work for The Landerholmstead, she is currently employed with the Poulsbo Farmers Market.
Oliver Smith was born in England and raised in Gettysburg, PA. He grew up helping his grandfather sell produce at the Farmer’s Market, where he developed a love for hot peppers. He attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, and graduated in 2011 with a BS in Electronic Media. For several years after graduating he worked for an ABC news station and provided audiovisual support for the Ritz Carlton Sarasota. He moved to Seattle with wife Rebeccah and son Phillip in 2015. Since then, he has been employed with Amazon as a Live Stream Technician. He loves gaming, hoppy beers, and building things.
Dillon Stickle currently lives in his hometown of Bethlehem, PA. He hopes to join his fellow founders in Seattle in the near future. Dillon completed his BA in Professional Writing from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2014. For several years after college, he wrote and edited for a Physical Therapy magazine. He is a devoted activist for LGBTQIA equality and animal rights, and he spends as much time as possible with his dogs.
